Constructed from rugged die-cast aluminum with solid steel rods, these casters feature a spring-loaded mechanism with three settings:
Step once to raise your MARK ¼" off the ground—perfect for smooth surfaces
Step twice to increase ground clearance to ½"
Step three to gently lower your MARK back into working position
Already have the Standard Casters? No need to repurchase brackets. This upgrade kit lets you swap in the premium 3" polyolefin wheels:
(4) 3" diameter by 1-¼" wide polyolefin red wheels mounted on rugged ⅜" steel axles with sealed ball bearings for smooth, quiet rolling. The casters swivel 360° for effortless maneuvering.

Most of the PU casters I have used (personally and professionally) have broken down over time, this kit is an excellent upgrade to the old 2"(phenolic?) casters. There are some small modifications that are required to accommodate the larger diameter wheels, but the kit provides almost everything (except cutting oil) you need to complete the task. I blocked up my SS instead of flipping it upside down, and it worked reasonably well, certainly easier for one person to do that way.
