A Feature-By-Feature Comparison

Not Sure Which MARK to Choose? Us Either! WE LOVE THEM ALL! But, if you need to choose just one, let us help by providing a MARK Features Comparison that details specific differences in each of the MARKS.

  • MARK V 520S

The MARK V 520S includes 5 of the essential tools: a 10” table saw, 34” lathe, 12” disc sander, horizontal boring machine, and a 16-1/2” drill press. It offers the same 34” spindle turning and 16-1/2” bowl turning capacity as the MARK 7, along with a 25” drill chuck to table distance. It is powered by a 1-1/8 HP mechanically driven Reeves Drive smart motor, which is less advanced than the MARK 7’s DVR motor. This model is also 71” long and includes all-inclusive pricing and payment options. It shares the same main table with the MARK 7 and MARK 4, and includes a mounted extension table for added workpiece support. While it lacks the preset speed database, it still offers a respectable speed range of 700–5200 RPM and uses the same fence and T-track configuration for ease with jigs and fixtures.

  • MARK 7

The MARK 7 is the most comprehensive offering, providing 7 powerful tools in a single space-saving unit: a 10” table saw, 34” lathe, 12” disc sander, horizontal boring machine, 16-1/2” drill press, overhead router, and an under-table shaper. It features a 34” spindle turning and 16-1/2” bowl turning capacity, with a generous 25” drill chuck to table clearance. Powered by a robust 1-3/4 HP computer-driven PowerPro DVR smart motor, it delivers enhanced torque and prevents stalling or burning. The MARK 7 is 71” long and offers all-inclusive pricing and payment packages. For added versatility, it includes floating extension tables and supports easier turnings due to its broader speed range. It has a built-in preset speed setting database and covers an impressive speed range from 250 to 10,000 RPM. Like its counterparts, it shares the same larger fence and T-track setup, ensuring compatibility with jigs and fixtures.

  • 557400_edited.jpg

    MARK 4

The MARK 4, also known as the Shorty, is a more compact unit offering 5 core tools: the 10” table saw, 18” lathe, 12” disc sander, horizontal boring machine, and a smaller 9” drill press. It features a reduced 18” spindle turning capacity, though it retains the 16-1/2” bowl turning capacity. With a 1-1/8 HP mechanically driven Reeves Drive smart motor, it matches the MARK V 520S in power but not in size, as the MARK 4 measures just 55” in length—ideal for tighter spaces. It includes all-inclusive pricing and payment plan options. While it doesn’t offer an extension table or advanced speed features, it maintains the same main table as the other models and provides compatibility with the same fence and T-track setup. The speed range is also 700–5200 RPM, suitable for general-purpose work.

Everyone chooses their MARK for different reasons whether it be for making advanced professional level wood projects, to free up much needed space by eliminating a shop full of individual tools, or maybe you are just getting started and are at the beginning of a lifetime of future woodworking. Regardless, we hope this easy-to-use Features Comparison Chart helps you pick out the perfect System for your needs.
