  • Shopsmith MARK products are covered by a Limited Lifetime Warranty against defects in materials and workmanship, based on factory inspection.

  • The warranty does not cover appearance, abuse, neglect (like rust), misuse, commercial use, damages from external sources, acts of God, vandalism, theft, fire, flood, improper installation, collision-type accidents, or costs of parts and labor for such damages.

  • No, Shopsmith is not responsible for incidental or consequential damages, such as damages caused by not being able to use products during service.

  • No, the warranty does not include return shipping for product evaluation.

  • The warranty applies ONLY to the Original Shopsmith Purchaser

  • The purchaser is responsible for shipping costs from outside the U.S. or from Alaska and Hawaii.

  • The motor is covered for 36 months, and electronics, bearings, and belts are covered for 12 months. Standard equipment components (other than the motor, electronics, bearings, and belts) are covered for 12 months.

  • The motor is covered for 24 months, and bearings, belts, sheaves, and speed control are covered for 12 months.

  • During the first 90 days after purchase, shipping expenses for returning an assembled Shopsmith Smart Motor for repair will be covered by Shopsmith if scheduled by a Shopsmith Rep through a Shopsmith Shipping Partner.

  • After 90 days, the customer will be responsible for the shipping expense to return a Smart Motor for repair.

  • Shipping costs can be minimized by disassembling the Smart Motor to return only the components in need of repair.

  • We do not have a direct line for technical assistance at this time. All questions must be sent to Customerservice@shopsmith.com and will be answered within 24-48 hours.

  • Shopsmith offers a 100% Satisfaction Guarantee, allowing customers to use any product for a full 30 days and return it within that period if not satisfied, with no questions asked.

  • If dissatisfied, items can be returned within 30 days of receipt in their original condition and packing for a replacement or refund.

  • All sales are final after 30 days from receipt.

  • You should retain all packing material, cartons, and products in the condition they were received, contact the delivery carrier to request an inspection within 15 days, and then call Shopsmith Customer Service at 1-937-890-5197 for further assistance.

  • Returns must include your full name, address, account number, and the Return Merchandise Authorization (R.M.A.) Number provided by Customer Service.

  • It is recommended to ship using an insured method (e.g., DHL, UPS, or Insured Parcel Post), as Shopsmith cannot replace or refund items lost by the returning carrier.

  • Refunds will be credited to the original payment method as quickly as possible after the return is received.

  • A copy of the original invoice and order number, the full name and address of the person who placed the order, and your instructions should be included.

  • Orders can be cancelled up until they've shipped from our warehouse. Once you receive the merchandise, you can return it following the return instructions.

  • You can check your order online through a link provided in your confirmation email, or by contacting customer service Customerservice@shopsmith.com. Orders with a "Shipped" status cannot be cancelled.
