Limited Lifetime Warranty
Your Shopsmith MARK is protected from defects in materials and workmanship (not normal wear) based on factory inspection of the defective product or part.
What Isn’t Included
Appearance, Abuse, Neglect, Misuse, Commercial Use, Damages from External Sources and Acts of God. We are not responsible for the costs of parts and labor for damage caused by abuse, neglect (such as rust), misuse, including failure to follow routine maintenance, commercial use, vandalism, theft, fire, flood, improper installation, or other acts of God, and collision-type accidents, or appearance. We are not responsible for incidental or consequential damages, such as damages caused by your not being able to use your products during service. Does not include return shipping for product evaluation. Warranty applies ONLY to Original Shopsmith Purchaser. Purchaser is responsible for shipping costs from the outside the U.S. or from Alaska and Hawaii.
Technical Support
During the first 12 Months from Purchase Date. If something is not operating properly, Customers receive a 15 Minute Consultation from Shopsmith Engineering for FREE. Shopsmith Engineering is available to help Diagnose & Direct the Problem. Support must be associated with item purchased. After the 12 Months from Purchase Date, Shopsmith Engineering Support is available and can be scheduled through Customer Care at (937) 890-5197. Shopsmith Engineering is limited and highly sought after. They can answer “How To” Questions, Provide Best Practices, Recommend Parts, etc. Shopsmith Engineering is happy to help for a nominal fee of $19.99 for the first 15 minutes & $1 per minute after. These Prices are subject to change without notice.
90 Day Repair Shipping Coverage
During the first 90 days after Purchase, Shipping Expenses for Returning an assembled Shopsmith Smart Motor for repair will be covered by Shopsmith if scheduled by a Shopsmith Rep. through a Shopsmith Shipping Partner. After 90 days, The Customer will be responsible for the Shipping Expense to Return a Smart Motor for Repair. Shipping Costs can be minimized by disassembling the Smart Motor to Return Components in need of repair.
Entire Agreement
This is the entire service agreement and no representation, promise or condition shall modify the terms of this agreement, unless in writing by Shopsmith President.
