555309 Strip Sander
Sand straight, curved, convex and concave surfaces, plus accomplish internal sanding that is impossible with ordinary sanders. Performs as a Contour Sander, Sharpener and Grinder. Put a mirror smooth edge on straight and curved edges using the 11" x 11" worktable surface (with 0-45 degree tilt). Removable flat and curved platens let you sand exact angles to suit the shape of your project. Easily adjustable tracking system keeps your sanding belt in-line for error free results with a simple twist of the knob. Solid-mount platen system provides a firm surface behind the belt during operations to let you sand angle cuts. The top tracking wheel adjust to keep the belt centered and parallel to the platen, tensions the belt, and serves as a contour sander for external curved pieces. With the proper belt in place, the Strip Sander is a quick, easy way to sharpen bench and lathe chisels, scissors, knives, and other items. Mounts directly on your Power Station or Mark V for a variety of power and variable speeds (700-2050 rpm). Will not work on ER, M2.Strip Sander includes a Dust Collection hookup for clean, safe operation and sealed ball bearing for dependability.
