I have an older jig saw (not the scroll saw) that has seen many years of use. The threads on the blade holders are showing considerable wear. I drilled the two holes as per SS instructions a number of years ago. It does the job quite well.

Ordered up the rear bearing from Accurate Bearing Company in IL and will be shipped from Irving, TX. The cost is $1.95 and the shipping and handling will surely exceed that cost.
