Need a part that shopsmith no longer sells

Post by reible »

Hi,

I picked up a used shopsmith for my son the other day. It is missing a few parts but one seems to be N/A. It is called the pinion lock (no part number listed) but it is #166 listed here:

http://www.shopsmith.com/service/mark/5 ... iagram.htm

Anyone have a lead on one?

Did you check with Bill Mayo? I think that he still has some parts

I assume (I know, dangerous) you checked with the MS. If not, you might want to see if they are still available ....

I can machine one. But it's expensive compared to finding one on the shelf. PM if you don't get lucky.

Think I have one if Mr. Bill Mayo does not have one. Contact me alisfair@aol.com if permissible on here.
