Like JPG's suggestion I use a 2" ID PVC pipe slightly longer than the Bench Tubes with a cap glued onto one end and a cap that slips onto the other end. This uses about a gallon of liquid to submerse the Way or Bench Tube inside the PVC Pipe. Evaporust is a great remover of rust on metal parts but is rather expensive. The reason for having the PVC pipe only slightly longer than a Bench Tube is to make it easier to get the Way or Bench Tube out of the PVC pipe without spilling the liquid which can be used on the next Way Tube for rust removal. Early Bench Tubes were painted and later changed to chrome plated which can get rusty. I have also used white vinegar as a rust remover in the PVC Pipe on Way Tubes. It is less expensive but does take longer, days instead of hours. When using Evaporust keep it in a closed container as much as possible as it does evaporate.
