Re: Mark VII Idler Shaft Damage

I have a bearing that goes into the end of the control sheave on a small metal block with two pins that connect to the control cam. The one that was in mine was really small and does not make contact with the inside of the control sheave is that normal?
I'm guessing that bearing should fit sung?

15mm will not fit the 5/8" idler shaft. The bearing marking will usually NOT specify the 5/8" id deviation.

Snug and likely staked.

The control sheave bearing seems to have some wobble in it with the part that comes out the end. Is it normal? Bearing seems to spin fine besides that. Probably a non-issue since it’s held in place by the nylon speed controller part. I’ll check with Motion with the info provided to see what they can do for me. Thanks!

I think Gerick may have purchased some shaft material, and you have some bearings that he needs, maybe PM him and work out a trade?
