Alec, I do not need any help but thank you for the offer. We have cut and hauled the trees to the curb for the city to pick up at it's leisure. We're still bagging the downed fruit to go but should have that done soon. I have a few other repairs to make but nothing major or urgent. Hope that you did not loose any of your farm buildings or crops.

You could use a tuff guard sealant instead of the glue. Saw it here - https://www.hod9.com/best-metal-roof-sealant/. Normally it's used for the roofs, but works extremely well for wood purposes which you have mentioned.
