I have a couple of parts that came with a recent Shopsmith purchase. They don't appear to be Shopsmith brand to me.
Both have 5/8 mounting holes with setscrews.

One appears to be a small steel faceplate with a central hub; 2-1/4 inch diameter.
The second mounts backward on the drive shaft and has a round section that would protrude with a 5/8 diameter hole; 2-1/16 inch diameter; has the number 260 on it.

Does anyone know what they are?

Part number one looks to me like a Shopsmith sanding-disc hub. Discs made for use with Model 500 machines have a short hub, which can be replaced with a longer hub for use on Model 510, 520, and Mark 7 machines.

I don't recognize part #2.

Yes I think you are correct.
Part 2 is still unknown.

Did you get a lathe chuck with your purchase and is it a Oneway from Canada. Your part #2 looks like the Oneway tapered adapter to permit the chuck to be used on the SS 5/8 spindle. the three holes are for the mounting screws and the two two holes that are 180 deg opposite from each other are used to jack the adapter off the chuck so that another adapter can be used for different equipment.
I just checked the Oneway site and the Shopsmith adapter is part # 0260

Bill nailed it on #2. The two holes opposite each other are/should be thread and used to remove the arbor from the chuck. The three holes in a triangle are used to hold the adapter to the chuck. In should be used with either a tallon or oneway chuck. To use on a different lathe, you just need to get a different adapter.
