Has anyone used the JessEm - Mobile Accessory Kit on other stands or equipment?

Haven't used it, but it looks well built like all of Jessem's stuff. I guess this is for attaching to their mobile stand product, but could be re-purposed for other items. Is the center rod a connecting mechanism for the wheel mechanism, i.e. you push one side down and both go down? Can't quite tell the mechanism from the picture, but it would be handy if that is the case.

From their website yes if you step on one side both go down. If you flip one side up they both go up. ...
