To attach an image, you click on "upload attachment" below your post. That will allow you to select a file from your computer that then can be uploaded to the site.
Re: V-belt replacement
First off thank you,
Sounds simple but it's not working. I've tried to transfer the image to my pc (downloads) then use a image posting site Then the Img block or tab ...no go so far. then of course the "upload attachment" option also no go so far. I've done it in the past, but it's been awhile.
Second, The original image is on my Galaxy s9 phone.

Re: V-belt replacement
Pictures are restricted to a maximum size by pixel width (2050), height (1180) and file size. After choosing a picture and selecting "Add the file" look at the top of the page if it doesn't load to see the error message. Most of the time it is too large. My phone gives me pictures 3 or 4 times larger than this site will allow.

OK so it would seem I must use the URL option tab not the Img.
But...how do I do all this from my phone and leave the PC completely out of the equation?

Re: V-belt replacement
I don't know your specific problem but I'm guessing from this image that you have a motor belt "stuck" in the upper sheaves and it is frozen tight (can't be turned. When wide open "at high speed" that sheave should measure very close to 1 7/8" (sheave to sheave). Open further allows the belt to slide too deep into the sheave.
If this is your deformed belt....well, maybe it is also a sacrificial belt...maybe.
But, enough of that until we get more info.

No dusty, the belt is not stuck or frozen it just has developed a bad habit! It wants to run sideways /inside-out.Gilmer Belt tracking

Re: V-belt replacement
Bad guess. I should have learned by now not to do that,
Since this is a Gilmer, I am going to back out of the discussion and just read. I have no experience with the Gilmer set up.
