Re: Return to the Dining Room
Back on the pull out shelving today. All ready for glue up. Six down and two to go. The remaining two are very shallow and will be pull outs for two serving trays.

After all the chaos got back in the shop today and got all the shelving sanded and installed. Now on to the drawer fronts.

Re: Return to the Dining Room
Back in the shop today and making progress on the drawer fronts. I am at this point making blanks of zebrawood that are cut on the bias. Each drawer front I will be made of four separate pieces with the grain converging in a center point on the drawer front.

Re: Return to the Dining Room
Yesterday was a fairly productive shop day. The handles for the pull out shelving are finished and ready for sanding. I also glued up the rest of the zebrawood for the drawer fronts.

Re: Return to the Dining Room
The drawer fronts are finally finished. These were without a doubt the most challenging drawer fronts I have ever done. They took bloody forever to complete but they are in the drying room and first coat of finish on. Now it is on to complete the doors and install the handles on the pull out shelving.
