Ive been posting lots of videos lately using my shopsmith 2000 table saw and my shopsmith mark V (I think). I turn on a delta 460 lathe but do use the SS quite a bit in my videos.

If I start to get more subscribers and find a new toolrest for the shopsmiths, ill be able to turn larger items. But at this point, it scares the heck out of me to turn with. I broke toolreast on two shopsmiths and escaped with no injuries so I am still a little gunshy.

A Shopsmith Newbie
The Channel name is "Pure Living for Life". A young couple are living in Idaho (I think) and built a timber frame house on vacant land. Prior to beginning the house they fell into a huge deal for a used 520 with a ton of accessories. Well, in this session, he brings the shopsmith out of storage and begins to learn about how the Shopsmith works. He is newbie but does a pretty good job. He is in the process of making temporary kitchen cabinets.
My guess is that you will recall those early days with your first shopsmith. I enjoyed observing his learning process.
