Done. Long journey, painful at times. Here's the final color choice. Hammered Verde Green and Silver. Just couldn't resist the Greenie colors!

Super Job, Mike!!!
I do like the color scheme and the nostalgia too. In fact I was just trying to find a picture from Disney's "Robots" movie because I'm pretty sure the main character robot was restored from "Rust" to "Verde Green"...

(Poor image but I think the better ones may have been blocked by Disney.)

Yes, Mike - very fine job. You have a pair of machines that any one of us would love to be able to replicate. You are a skilled craftsman.

Now, if only we knew for sure that they are able (either one of them) to make saw dust. If we knew that.....well, the restoration job would be complete.

BTW, did you polish the saw blades too?:)

Let me add my voice to the chorus. The machine you have resurected stands as an example and an inspiation to those who will restore in the future but the legacy you have left us all is maybe even more significant. We now have the most complete and detailed 10ER repair/restoration manual that anyone could ask for. From all of us who you have helped in our quest for answers and for those who will need that help in the future...... THANKS !

Mike great looking machine, I agree on the colors. Now I have a good idea what one of the last two ER's I have a boxes color will be. I can only hope mine will look half as good. Thanks for the trip through your rebuild.
