When my PP driver died, and I had dis-assembled the whole thing. It was clear that 1 of the screws holding the powerpro LCD/Display unit in place was loose. As mentioned above-it isnt held on by much and is limited in screw length by the possibility of driving it thru the back of the LCD circuit board if you use a too-long screw.

To reinforce the bad plastic screw joint-i filled it in with epoxy and drove the original screw into it. Now its snug again.

I wouldn't use the lcd/display unit for moving the headstock around-but I understand how it could happen - it is a prominent feature to get a hold of !

I've seen the powerpro rip 2" thick red oak and rock maple. I'd like to see the digital readout while ripping a piece of apitong trailer decking.
