I did not equip with Shopsmiths in spite of the setups but because of them.

I think someone drew the support upside down and on the wrong side of the bracket.
I used to have one similar, but it had 5 threaded ends.

I believe it's original design intention was to measure wind shield wiper blades of a specific brand.

I have one of those, set up, my Shopsmith with it. Worked perfectly.
FYI do not believe people that say you can not free hand cut perfect circles on a Shopsmith setup in table saw mode.

You can threads the posts with a standard die but you need a special tap to the cut the threads in the ambihelical nuts.
