Help identify a tool

Post by PatrickT »

Sorry if this is in the wrong forum, not sure where to really post this.

I got a Shopsmith at an estate sale and in the box of stuff was this aluminum clamp-like tool. Not sure if these pieces all go together but they look like they should.

Is this made for the Shopsmith?

Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Patrick

They are accessories for a Zyliss Vise (now Z-Vise). An end stop and two turning centers.. :)

What a strange coincidence! I had the fortune of being given a shopsmith by a friend who had let it sit for awhile and it came with several crates of spare parts. Those same turning centers were among the parts! I've been wondering for over a year now what those things were, so I'm glad you asked!
