Name is a little odd but the clamp seems well enough made that I will invest in a few more. I just got one since I wasn't sure just how a gear clamp like this would work. My report is that I like it. Time will tell if they hold up but I don't think that will be an issue for me.
It is about time someone though of this.
Sorry for the low quality photo but it will let you know what this is about and you can ask yourself the question if you might like to own a few. I got mine from Rockler but other places sell them too.
I will not miss skinning my knuckles trying to use this or not being able to get the old style clamp to even fit is certain locations.

At first look it appears to be well built

I bought two of each size back in December. I think it was from Woodpeckers but they were on sale. I agree it is about time. They are much more heavy duty than the average F style clamp.reible wrote:Name is a little odd but the clamp seems well enough made that I will invest in a few more. Little heads-up here, Rockler is selling the 12" version for $16.99 which is 15% off the normal $19.99 price. I was in the store today and they had a good number of them in stock unlike last time when they had none...... your store may differ.
Sale goes to April 25, 2019.

A different option, but still Bessey, regular F style. A four pack for $16.97. Doesn't help with the ease of access but seems like a good price.reible wrote:Little heads-up here, Rockler is selling the 12" version for $16.99 which is 15% off the normal $19.99 price.
