220 to 110 PowerPro

Post by Wes7373 »

Just picked up a used powerpro. It has a 220 plug on it, I understand after reading that it is fine with either voltage option. I done a bit of electrical work in the past, but wanted to make sure that I can just cut the 220 plug off and wire a grounded 110 plug onto the residual cord?

I've seen some do a stepdown adapter that has female 220 adapted to male 110, but I don't plan to have access to 220 anytime soon, so I think I'll just switch it from 220 to 110.

as always, thanks for any help.

Yes, just replace the 220 plug with a 110 plug. The Power Pro automatically senses the input voltage.
