Model 520 with bandsaw and dust collector for $900, near Cincinnati.

https://columbus.craigslist.org/tls/d/s ... 00834.html

It looks dusty and neglected, but otherwise very good. There’s also two SPT mounting bases in the pics, which makes me wonder if there may be another SPT hiding somewhere.

Not much of a description about condition, and not very good pictures, but might be worth an inquiry to someone.

510, BandS, BeltS, JigS, J, Power Station, Joint-Matic $850

From the ad: "This is a heavily upgraded Mark V with two extra machines; a jointmatic with a Porter Cable router and a separate power station unit to drive one accessory. Includes a jigsaw, bandsaw, 6" X 48" sander, jointer and a large box of accessories"

Also see an older table and rip fence, and who knows what is in the box. For $850, could be a great set-up even if each component needs some work and TLC.

That is a 4E jointer for the 10ER. It will not mount on a MK 5/V. It does have the sonewhat rare hing plate, however. That is worth the $25 alone.

I noticed the link from a few days no longer worked, saying post was deleted by author.

The same ad is still up though on the Los Angeles page. Looks like Lebec is north of LA.

520 with PP headstock. Includes jointer and maybe a bandsaw. Asking $2k, but says he's willing to take an offer.

From the ad:

"Selling my trusty ShopSmith! I am "thinning out" this year. If you do not know much about a ShopSmith, this machine is really multiple woodworking machines in one. Really a great option when budgeting your shop/garage space while giving you the capability to perform many different woodworking task.

The headstock (unstoppable motor with electronic push button commands) was upgraded to the PowerPro Headstock a few years ago, which is the Mark 7 ShopSmith headstock. This upgrade alone is worth over $2000.00. I think it is impossible to strain that new motor when passing wood. This ShopSmith has been lightly used for small home projects and well maintained. This has the original single (not the upgraded double) tilt chassis.

Among other accessories I have: a joiner attachment, drill press, table saw, band saw, upgraded caster wheels, table (miter and fence), lathe, sander, dado blade kit, table extension legs and extra table sections and more. I have ALL of the documentation from the original purchase and for all accessories. ShopSmith provides replacement parts, upgrades and add-ons all the time and has great support.

Asking $2000.00, but make an offer. Cash or you must wait until your check clears before taking possession. First come first serve. A new ShopSmith will cost you at least $4279.00! Why do that to your budget when I am selling way more than a basic machine? Will deliver in Albuquerque for free.

Please do not try to adjust agreed price down. I am a straight shooter and expect that of you. I can give you a orientation, but there are many YouTube videos as well.

Call or text. If I do not answer right away I will very soon. Please do not call after 9:00 PM. I am an early riser.
Thank you for taking the time to look at my ad."
