WOW, WOW, WOW.....that's all I can say. Fantastic job on the ER. She looks wonderful. I know from personal experience how time consuming and rewarding that project was. Makes ME want to pull out my rust bucket Mark 5 I've had buried in my garage for the past couple years and get on it. Maybe this winter.....(and that's a San Diego winter.....) Congrats Dick.
p.s. Love the signature line quote!!

Hey brother! Nice to see you post here again!

Thanks, that means a lot coming from you. I think you had a lot more work to do to yours, I "skated" on not having as many problems as you did, but just the same, thank you. It was fun!

Bengi was a up to date dude .... :D

Woah, who's the new guy here? :D

Micky, GOOD to see you here! Come back and visit more often!

You're inspiring me to do something with my 1000 pound (non cookware, that is a
different 500 LB story) Cast Iron collection.

10 ER, stripped down.
Basic 10ER, Parts machine. Will be a semi-dedicated drill-press machine.
10 ER, a "survivor" of the trailer fire, in the back yard, needing restoration. Has a Mk5 headrest. Finally, stripped down.
Numerous parts, for Model 10 stuff. Except for lower saw guard, A and B adapters, I've got it.

Looking for one more, or some 9 inch extension table raisers.

Rjent said he did the same colors as Mickyd, which are Rustoleum Hammered Verde Green, and Hammered Silver. http://www.shopsmith.com/ss_forum/viewt ... 783#p57783

It is a very attractive colour scheme. I was thinking of doing one of mine that way, but Rustoleum Canada has discontinued the Verde Green, :( so I may go Silver and Antique Pewter,

Sorry hdoilcan, I missed this. I did another rebuild you might be interested in here:

http://shopsmith.com/ss_forum/maintenan ... 17571.html

and here:

http://shopsmith.com/ss_forum/maintenan ... 18431.html

The gold was 1) Primer (after cleaning) 2) hammered silver for texture and then 3) Gloss Gold for the color.
I use them both every day .... :)
