I came up with an idea that may be useful on the Shopsmith since its just a great big jig. As its being built I'll see if you can guess what its going to be. Here is the first picture.

I've got no idea but I will say that the workmanship is excellent. I do assume it is hand made and not machine crafted. I'll be watching for further clues.

You're turning your Shopsmith into an industrial size taffy pulling machine! ;)

Here are some more pictures. The project is coming along. Gray paint and 10-32 threaded holes.

Whatever it is, the workmanship is impressive!
Gale's Law: The bigger the woodworking project, the less the mistakes show in any photo taken far enough away to show the entire project!
