I saw everyone's nice projects, this a Kleenex Box Cover for my wife's desk when she got promoted to Head Nurse of Ambulatory Services. It holds a thin box of Kleenex and is made of Burled White Oak I got when I bought a random pile of white oak boards for a local saw mill. It was an attempt to hand cut dove tails and work with thin stock and do do a hand rubbed high gloss finish.

The table it is sitting on is made from quilted and fiddle back hard maple I made 15 years ago also an attempt at dove tailing but these were machine cut.

In my world it is Professionalism, and the wood cares if thin and moisture variations.

Any one ever tell you to not seal all surfaces of a piece of wood?
