WOW, WOW, WOW.....that's all I can say. Fantastic job on the ER. She looks wonderful. I know from personal experience how time consuming and rewarding that project was. Makes ME want to pull out my rust bucket Mark 5 I've had buried in my garage for the past couple years and get on it. Maybe this winter.....(and that's a San Diego winter.....) Congrats Dick.

Thanks, that means a lot coming from you. I think you had a lot more work to do to yours, I "skated" on not having as many problems as you did, but just the same, thank you. It was fun!

Micky, GOOD to see you here! Come back and visit more often!

10 ER, stripped down.
Basic 10ER, Parts machine. Will be a semi-dedicated drill-press machine.
10 ER, a "survivor" of the trailer fire, in the back yard, needing restoration. Has a Mk5 headrest. Finally, stripped down.
Numerous parts, for Model 10 stuff. Except for lower saw guard, A and B adapters, I've got it.
Looking for one more, or some 9 inch extension table raisers.

What did you use for paint colors?
What did you use for paint colors?
Re: Reborn 10ER
Rjent said he did the same colors as Mickyd, which are Rustoleum Hammered Verde Green, and Hammered Silver. http://www.shopsmith.com/ss_forum/viewt ... 783#p57783hdoilcan wrote:Wow amazing........ it looks great!

It is a very attractive colour scheme. I was thinking of doing one of mine that way, but Rustoleum Canada has discontinued the Verde Green, so I may go Silver and Antique Pewter,

http://shopsmith.com/ss_forum/maintenan ... 17571.html
and here:
http://shopsmith.com/ss_forum/maintenan ... 18431.html
The gold was 1) Primer (after cleaning) 2) hammered silver for texture and then 3) Gloss Gold for the color.
I use them both every day ....
