Traveling Miter Guage

I just received my Incra V120 Miter Guage from Shopsmith which I purchased much earlier this month when it was on sale. I was amazed that it is 379 miles from Dayton, Ohio to my home in Lewisburg, TN but the miter guage travelled 1005 miles before it arrived via FedEx. Only took 6 days. Not complain...

Great looking trucks Gary. Nothing like having a hand made toy that hopefully one day will be looked on with memories of how much fun and enjoyment they gave to those little guys. I think they have so much more meaning compared to a factory made toy probably made in some foreign country.

Very nice looking bowl. Curious as what you used to cut the pieces and method to get the angles on them. Must have taken many hours to get them all cut and glued up before turning. You definitely have more patience than I do for taking on a project such as this. Thanks for sharing your pictures.

I like it Bob. Shows ingenuity and good use to what you had available, and it serves the purpose you needed it to do. Great job!! Also thanks for posting the pictures. I am sure others will use your concept.

Woodcraft has the V120 miter gauge on sale until July 21 for $69.99. This is not the SS version so does anyone know if it can be modified to fit into the SS T Tracks without any major modifications needed? I read through this entire thread and am not clear as if this will be workable or not. Not a b...

Here are a couple pictures of me - The one with the Windsor chair I built at Woodcraft is about 6 years old but I haven't changed that much. The one in the red suit is a couple of years old taken at my part-time job. I only do this role around December and work as an electrical associate the rest of...

My compliments to you Jim. Great design. I definitely like it. I should make myself something like that for my turning tools. Presently I have them all in a roll-away metal cabinet which I could use for other tools. Whenever you build that sewing cabinet, please post pictures of it as well.
