I live not far from you in Malabar, without the AC, what about rust? Near the ocean over here, everything rust within a few months. I have a big shop but insulated it and ac to keep out humidity. Had it up for a number of years and not one thing has rusted yet.

Now I just unclip the bag and drag the can out, then tie the top and not a big mess anymore. Put the ...

Both parents died, Mom in Aug to cancer and Dad in Nov to smoking, pneumonia. Keep that in mind for all you smokers. Maybe you don't really care what happens but it can destroy the ones who love you and have to watch you choke to death.

Thanks for the offer, I would love to fly to Calif from Florida to pick up a part. Think you could check it out and break it in for me to make sure it works before i get there?

I was not going by catalog numbers, I was going by the Parts list that came with the hood that was inside the box. I see by the list you can order parts separately but in this case, I am only following what they said should have been in the box.

Boy, this is getting fun... Let me update the group on what I found and possibly answer some questions on my posts. To start, I was venting, mainly because almost everytime I have ordered something it has been on backorder. When you order standard items and it usually is backordered, it seems to me ...

This post may have opened up some interest. My wife had called them the first time time it happened. They still have not corrected the issue. She called them again after the second episode and so far, it has not been corrected. I did receive her order, the 42" Dust Collector Hood but it arrived...

Man, is my wife mad...

For the second time my wife ordered me something for my birthday. She created an account under her own name and I already have my own account. She ordered it and when it did not ship (backorder) like everything else. She could not track it. It was placed under my account and charged to my credit car...

The next to the last one is the jointer table. The one towards the end is a faceplate for turning but it does not come from SS that I know of.

I have them too, I really like the scraper for getting smoother edges inside a good size bowl. The gouges are very long compared to most SS turning tools. The flutes channel out a lot of wood when kept sharp. The Flat scaper works really well if you keep it straight on the end. covers a lot of surfa...
