Yes, they must be because I tried to push the pin from the outside side to the inside as this was the easiest route. I got the pin to move about a quarter inch in that direction then it was stuck tight and I could not budge it. Came back this morning and attempted to move the pin in the other direct...

Yep, have the part. It seems the pin is not touching the outside of the upper arm cover at all (the side of the pin that is rounded). There is a large enough gap between the pin and the cover that I can see the broken bracket through it. So I guess the pin is being held in place with the part of the...

Scroll saw dowel pin removal

Well, I’m trying to replace the arm/bracket that holds the plastic hood on the scroll saw. I tried to knock the dowel pin out but it is not budging. I am hesitant to hit it with too much force for fear the housing will break.

Does anyone have any tips or tricks? Thanks
