Nice!
Tell us more about the container. What is it? Where'd you get it? etc

BS table leveling plate.
Let's talk about why the smart people at Shopsmith decided to use a allen-head bolt on the bottom of the bandsaw table that is a different size than every other allen head screw on the entire machine. What the heck were they thinking?!?!
Why didn't they simply use a 5/32" allen-head bolt?

Where Purchase Lathe Gouge Blades, w/o Handles?
Where can I purchase just the lathe gouge blades without handles?
I can make my own handles. That's pretty easy and fun.

Question: Upgrade On/Off Switch from Toggle to newer Safety Switch
I recently upgraded to the PowerPro. In the upgrade kit, they included both the old style toggle switch and a newer style safety switch. Since my machine is the older version, I installed the provided toggle switch. But, I got to looking at the newer safety switch and the case, and I think my older ...

PowerPro - I wish I could disable "Confirm" Button
Is there a little-known, magic sequence of button pushes that disables the requirement of the CONFIRM button? I've recently upgraded to the PowerPro and there is a lot I like about the new motor. The thing I dislike the most is the Confirm button. I understand why Shopsmith included it. I understand...

As the originator of this thread, I truly appreciate everyone's input. I have learned a lot. It's a time in this country where nothing is unanimous, but, thanks to all you guys, I received a definitive and unanimous answer - the 520 fence upgrade is worth it. Ok, I'll save up my lunch money and watc...

Is the 520 Pro Fence and Table System Upgrade worth it?
I currently have the 510 table and fence. The 520 Pro Fence and Table System Upgrade does not replace the table. It just replaces the round pipe rails with extruded rails, the fence, and a few other parts and pieces. Link to Upgrade webpage - https://www.shopsmith.com/ownersite/catalog/510toprofence...

510 Table Height Adjustment not holding securely
How do I fix this?
I have to tighten the table height crank/handle as tight as I can and it still doesn't securely hold the table. I can put downward pressure on the table and it will creep lower.
Any ideas how to make it hold more securely?
