Re: YouTube Videos featuring Shopsmiths
A Shopsmith Newbie The Channel name is "Pure Living for Life". A young couple are living in Idaho (I think) and built a timber frame house on vacant land. Prior to beginning the house they fell into a huge deal for a used 520 with a ton of accessories. Well, in this session, he brings the ...

Re: How to convert a broken canned chair with an upholstered one
Thanks for the picture. My chairs are pretty much the same chair. My daughter wants more of a fabric top. Yours looks great.

How to convert a broken canned chair with an upholstered one
I am still unable to figure out how to post images. So I will try and describe the situation. My daughter has six straight backed chairs with fully canned seats (half of them have serious cane damage). The cane weave is wrapped around the full seat's four rounded sides (about an inch in diameter). T...

Re: 30 degree bevel cut on table saw (narrow stock)
Thank you Ed, algate and charlese. My saw guard has been a little beat up over the years and with a some pressure I got it to close tighter. I advanced the quill as far as I could to the right and that gave me the blade height I needed. Also, I was so focused on the cut, angle and blade height I for...

Re: 30 degree bevel cut on table saw (narrow stock)
There seems to be two issues I am definitely getting interference from the lower saw guard and I need the blade height to be about a 1/4" higher but it won't go any higher. The clamps are there only to support the piece while I am setting it up for the cut.

Advice needed for cutting slots on a Dominos tray
I would like to make a replica of the plastic trays that I purchased for a "Mexican Train" game. These trays hold the dominoes. The Tray in inches is 3/4x5x12. The difficult part is replicating the five parallel slots (length wise) that hold the dominoes. Each slot is angled 15 degrees at ...
