Reverse engineering

I picked up a wide jaw vice grip from Harbor Freight. It's cheap and similar to the Kreg clamp. I just cut one of the pads off and ground it a bit.

I have both the old and the new Ridgid stands. Interestingly, I prefer the older one and keep it in the shop. The newer one is my road stand. Both units are heavy.
