10e For Free

I have the better part of a 10E I need to get rid of... the price is right. There is a complete headstock, tubes, Legs and pretty much everything except the speed control, casters, tool rest and saw table that I robbed... I hate to see this go to the scrap pile, but it is coming close.. I am moving ...

The really cool ones have teeth on both sides so the log can be sawn in both directions! Wow lots of memories there. Ive seen a few saw blades explode and pieces fly all over. Amazing how a small piece of rebar or an old insulator can destroy one of these huge saws in the blink of an eye... real sca...

I'd take the Oak and start cutting the ends off to see where the checking ends... you might wind up with only a 4' piece in the middle that is usable... probably not worth it

One could also go with the link belt and get the proper length... the number of links to use is posted somewhere in all this. Worked very well for me.

Not a sad thing, work with all of them. I have one as a drill press, one with the band saw, one with the jointer, and one as a table saw. I have another that will be a lathe when I am done. Now to add the second Spt one the MKV's to double their loads. :D Oh not a sad thing at all... but with only ...

Consider the 10ER tubes before you let them go. They are heavier than the Mark V tubes and you might want to mount them instead of what you have on the Mark V. I thought about that, but after spending all last winter with my Greenie and 10E restorations.I want to make some sawdust. The damned 10E w...

10E/ER? Parts California

Ive got a 10E carcass (good headstock, tubes that are in fairly restorable shape ( better than the ones on my restored machine) most castings and a set of OEM Legs. Any takers? Im just north of the San Francisco Bay Area. I need to do some serious downsizing as I have no room to do projects and I re...

My philisophy on HF is that " It isnt any good, just good enough" I have a 4" angle grinder that runs and runs, it it dies, Im only out 20 bucks. I have an $89 wire feed welder that I used sparingly, beats having 400 bucks laying around the shop not getting used. Some of that stuff ha...
