Sorry folks-the "hold" happened shortly after I ordered-was then released-was then actually charged out of my account months later. Look, maybe it was an isolated glitch. That is not what the very "open" customer service claimed. I do plan to call today. I realize just how tough ...

That credit card event was so strange to me as well. But that is why I decided to note it-I still want to buy from the company. But I won't hand them complete control of the payment timing again. So, I'll call before I do the supposedly required internet order for the sale. Thanks, mt

Speed Reducer Sale-IN STOCK????

This is the one main accessoy I have been hoping to acquire. Has anyone called to find out if these are in stock? I did not publicly post about my last order experience, but I will now. On the velcro sale SS finally did actually charge my card on a product not shipped and when I called I was told th...

Like Them

I ordered a set. They make such good sense and the price is reasonable. I have cut quite a few bars from UHMW-tight but they slide smoothly. Also, I did get Taylor Designs to sell me a couple when I adapted my Miter Express to Shopsmith- SS had announced the SS version-but, you all know what would c...

Klingspor and Lee Valley as well. I'm lousy at linking-sorry. MT(I have a bunch of Scotchbrite belts for the strip sander-can't recall the source on those-unbeatable for detailing and "easing")

I do a fair number of pens-mostly premium kits and celluloids and acrylics. I have never had the brass jam nut bend a mandrel. I have never used a tool to tighten one-that is the key. A close fit between the blank bore and the brass tube makes more difference. If the drill wobbles and gives an overs...

I have two stand alones. Only one is set up. I use a Jessem table and fence and have a big Freud 3.25 hp router on the bottom. One cannot come close to any other genuine pin router for the money. The rack controlled head has not been changed so repairs there should remain simple. Since I have two SS...

The best thing I did for my Mark V, standard, was to buy the Incra "Miter Express." It carries the already precise nature of a Shopsmith to a new level of additional precision and safety. I use an Incra 1000SE locked into the "ME." I can lift it off and return it with no further ...
