I have a question concerning sanding to width/edge sanding with the 520. In the PTWFE book and in the self study course, the rip fence is offset when width/edge sanding to prevent board lifting. Was the thread deleted? If so, why? There was a good link in there for updating the user profile. It seems as though many of us are not getting the "e-mail special" e-mails anymore.

What happened to the "Slow so Slow" thread? It was here at 10:30 this morning and I added a post to it. I came back to see if there was an update to it and now the entire thread is gone. I searched for it with no results. Am I missing something here?

Has anyone noticed that the Owners Page is out of date? I haven't been recieving the e-mail specials (I have been recieving the shop tips, though) and I noticed that the link to the e-mail specials on the Owners Page is not working. Other things on the Owners Page are out of date as well.

I have a Dewalt DW 746, which I had prior to buying my 520. It is a good saw, but it doesn't see a lot of use.
