Heavy, 12" Diameter Steel Sanding Disc (555143)
Features a precision steel arbor that is carefully attached to eliminate bothersome run-out and wobble. Just install the sandpaper disc of your choice, slip the arbor onto your MARK (for All MARKS or Power Station) spindle and go to work.
Set up coarse, medium and fine sanding discs for your woodworking project components that require sanding. You know using all three grits is the best practice. Keep a separate disc for sharpening, maybe even two (1-coarse and 1-fine). If you use a “sharpening” disc for sanding wood, the results will not be acceptable and the abrasive usually leaves burn marks on the wood. The abrasive also loads with wood pitch so that dual purpose disc not good for either wood sanding or sharpening.
