The Premium Quality 6" Carbide-Tipped Stack Dado Set is a stacked dado set cuts precise splinter-free dadoes or grooves in particleboard, MDF, laminates and other tough materials. The wide carbide tips on the outer blades provide plenty of clearance to prevent binding and help you get the most power from your Shopsmith. Their teeth feature an alternate top bevel grind to shear the cut cleanly with a flat grind on every other tooth for a flat bottom cut.

The anti-kickback design greatly reduces the chance of overfeeding the workpiece and creating a kickback. This is feature is very important with a dado because of the amount of material being cut. This Precision Dado Set is designed to set a new standard in performance.

Dado Arbor
The 5/8” Dado Arbor that is used to hold the Dado Head to make any width Dado, Rabbet or Groove cut you need.
Here's a great all-around arbor for use with dado blades or the Shopsmith Molder Head. Includes a 1-7/8" long 5/8" diameter threaded shaft, two steel washers, a 3/4" thick spacer, a locking tongue-washer, and a hex nut. Fits MARK 7 and all other MARK V models. Having extras allows you to have a variety of tools ready to go to work on a moment's notice without bothersome change-over.

Note: Cannot be used with regular saw blades, see saw blade arbors here .

Dado Insert (All marks except MARK V 500)
Replaces sawing insert during dadoing operations to allow an opening in the Table for Dado Blades and supports the workpiece. Made of pressure-cast aluminum alloy with a generous 1-1/8 inch wide slot that adapts to all Dado widths with added room for adjustment.

Blank Insert (for Dado Cuts on the MARK V 500)
This Heavy-duty Polymer Table Insert replaces the sawing insert in the main Worktable and gives you maximum work piece support and operator safety. Now you can create your own narrow or wide kerf slots when cutting Dados Rabbets or Grooves without dulling your dado blades. When cut to fit the Dado Set, this Table Insert Supports the workpiece completely around the cut for maximum support. This close fit to the workpiece reduces splintering and kickback.

NOTE: 555500 will not fit ER, MARK II, MARK VII, MARK 7, MARK V 520, 510, 505 or MARK 4. MARK V 500 only.

Color-Coded Polymer Slotted Dado Shim Set
This set of 14 special shims will provide practically unlimited adjustments (from .002-inch to .138-inch) to the width of your stack dado cuts. Made of a special oil and grease-resistant polymer that won't swell, wrinkle or buckle, each features a 3/8-inch wide slot from edge to the 5/8-inch arbor hole, to easly slide the shim into place around the threaded arbor shaft.Each different shim size is color-coded for quick recognition.

Includes: • Four Orange Shims (.002-inch thick) • Two Purple Shims (.005-inch thick) • Four Navy Shims (.010-inch thick) and • Four Black Shims (.020-inch thick) in a • handy, see-through plastic storage box.
