Mine are done (not filed). No surprises here.

Finished and filed a week ago. I liken it to ripping a BandAid off as quickly as possible; get the pain over with as soon as possible!

Sorry to hear that. Hope it ain't contagious! I have all my 1099's in pile, but probably won't get to them until late next week. Oral surgery on Tuesday will interfere with getting my taxes done.

Well, enjoy the oral surgery — you’re saving the worst for last!

After correcting entry erros...taxes are not all that bad. I'll take this tax bill and skip oral surgery. but taxes will not be paid until April.

I think the withholding tables are deliberately low, but the IRS online calculator goes to the other extreme.

Doubtful. I believe the tax tables are accurate for the year intended. Now it might seem that way when using them. :(

What I find interesting is for the last 10 or so years I have gotten barraged with TurboTax and HRBlock mail ads. Usually use this code for a $10 off tax product type of ad.
However this year nothing! Either their business is really good or really bad can't figure out which.

I took the morning off from work since I worked the weekend and did my corporate and personal taxes. Turbotax still doesn't have the forms ready to record my S-Corp income, but it looks like I'll be getting about $2k back from the fed and turning around and sending all but about $30 of that to the state of Minnesota. Compared to having to pay thousands to both like last year, I'm thrilled.
