Re: Box from Amazon
OK back in for the day, finished rustling a few wood chips around the shop and decided it was time for the photo that you really don't want to see.....

ME! I never wanted to be a cowboy and still don't want it today. I grew up on a cattle ranch and had to ride the pastures every day on a horse from the time I was 5 or 6 years old. Somebody had to bring the cows in from the pastures and I was the oldest boy in the family so I got the job. Cowboys and horses get boring really fast when it becomes your job.reible wrote:20180214_114451_resized.jpg
It fits pretty well and the air-pack lining is nice.
I mean who as a kid didn't want to be a cowboy??

Every body was happy to be a cowboy until you brought reality to our fantasty world.
And I was getting ready to order something from Amazon just to get my hat. (Box).
Re: Box from Amazon
I'm trying to think of something to order of the size that would get me some chaps....or boots.

I grew up that way too, cowboy work is hard work and there is nothing romantic about it. All day in a saddle is just ... well, work! LOL

Saddle sores. When you have to spend 12 hours a day in the saddle for days on end, it starts to hurt.
Back in 1967, I spend 3 days in the saddle for 12 hours a day riding a 36 square mile pasture looking for 500 cows and 1500 sheep in the aftermath of a Wyoming blizzard to save as many critters as possible.
