It is tremendous that you take the time to take pix and explain all that you are doing.

Thanks is just inadequate in expressing my appreciation of your effort!

I doubt I am alone!

This is our header assembled and in the clamps.

I have cut and sanded the bottom radius and attached two 4 inch plinth blocks with pocket screws on the back side.

Remember this curved jamb that we started the project with. I have cut it down to 4 5/8 in width and 32 inches in length and attached it to the other jamb members.

It is hard to get a picture of this at 82 inches long. The bottom member in the photo is just a temporary brace screwed to the bottom

Now all we have to do is attach everything to the frame. This is the profile of the casing.

The bottom gets a 6 inch plinth block.

The top of the panels get a 2 1/2 inch crown molding with a 3/4 inch bull nose top cap.

Every thing looks better after final sanding.

This is our cased opening finished on one side. The back side is a mirror image but will be installed buy the builder at installation.

And speaking of the builder he just called to see if his units were ready.

Actually 3 of the 4 are ready and # 4 is very close. :)
