Today in the shop (yet another sign, well sort of)

Post by reible »

I've been making sign with the grand children's names as birthday gifts. I wanted to change thing up a bit so this sign is on a 3" x 3" x 3" cube. The 3" was determined by the size of my vertical table for the Shaper. It also makes them more of a paper weight rather then a toy to play with.

The design was done in sketchup and I used the fabber plug in to produce the file for the Shaper. The text is Rockwell Nova but some letters need some additional manual intervention to let them fit.

These are fresh cut so it is now waiting sanding and finishing.
