10ER acquisitions maintenance questions.
As I mentioned in Community I did get a couple of 10ERs and I have some questions regarding configuration and maintenance.
1) I got a jointer fence and head but I am unsure how to attache the head to the 10ER. The photo below shows what I got, if anybody can enlighten me on how to attach to the 10ER quill and table, much appreciated.

2) The motor seems not to be original but looks like a good improvement. It is label "Dayton Power", 1/2 HP with the axle protruding on both sides and original (looks like) forward/reverse switch.
It was tested in front of me and worked but once at home is dead like no power gets in it.
I know the outlet has power, so I will have to check wiring, etc. but any suggestions to start with are most welcome.
That's all for now.

That's my primary complaint with that Yahoo group. It's a great resource, but it's just so hard to navigate. It's basically a glorified email distribution list.eartigas wrote:Yes, thanks. I did join the Yahoo group but finding info and navigating there is much harder than this forum.

Now I also see why the strange shape it has that as you say would fit in the table insert.
Perhaps this will 'help'.
