These walking sticks are new also. The painted on was done for some one that likes light houses. it is aspen. The other is cedar. and was done for a pastor as a gift from his church.

No. I do use one to strip the bark if it is required. Most of the sticks I use are 1 to 2 inches limbs. 48 + inches long for walking sticks.WmZiggy wrote:Really nice. Do you use a spokeshave to shape the staff?
