Surely you did not leave the Dewalt planer on her floor!:eek: Never mind, that is his floor!

Since the typical max depth of cut for plywood is 3/4", a 8" blade is 'big enough'. They did make a 9" in 1963 with 1 1/4" hole.

Three years ago I bid on, and won, a poorly described Shopsmith on eBay. I bid because it was here in Gainesville.

When my son and I got there I realized that the Shopsmith and accessories were worth at least $300 more than my winning bid of $700, so I gave her $1000. It was still a fair and good deal.

She was recently widowed, and I had even briefly met her husband a year or so earlier at one of Shopsmith's last traveling academies.
