Is the width of the Shopsmith fence straddler (wood stock pusher) adjustable to work on different width fences?

The width of the Shopsmith fence straddler does not adjust.
The only adjustment on the fence straddler is for the height of the heel that hooks over the stock. See figure 5 on this manual. http://www.shopsmith.com/ownersite/prod ... ctions.pdf
As indicated in the manual linked above, there are 2 different versions of the straddler that fit the different Shopsmith fences.
