The work light I use on my 10ER did not have a good base and frequently got knocked over.
So yesterday I made a base for it that clamps to the way tubes. Just some scrap wood, a T-bolt and a knob.
Where it is positioned it can also turn the other way and be used for my 10ER drill press.
I had been thinking of this for a while now, glad I finally got 'er done. I also added some extra holes to store hex keys.

Please excuse me when you see one of these in images that show my shop area. I just happen to have a light, very similar to yours, that does not get used. It will now.

I glad this can be of use to you, I am certainly inspired by what others here do and share .dusty wrote:Please excuse me when you see one of these in images that show my shop area. I just happen to have a light, very similar to yours, that does not get used. It will now.
This forum is all about the sharing.
One more photo to show the bottom of the lower clamp, (I made a recess for the bolt head with a Forstner bit and glued it in with CA glue)
and to correct an 'omission' in the previous photos.
And here is another lamp on my bandsaw, this one mounts on a short piece of 2x4 screwed to the worktop.

Re: Clamp on base for my work lamp.
Update, I long since moved this holder to the left end of the way tubes where it didn't get in the way.
Saturday I made a new one to better accommodate all four allen keys that i require. (3/32", 1/8", 5/32", and 3/16") and the hole for the lamp had worn too big.
The lamp has had an upgrade too, I now use LED floodlight bulbs.
I cut the angled notches where it goes over the way-tubes on the 10er, first time making angled cuts with the tilted table, and my miter gauge has the scar to prove it.

Next time, use the 'lower' slot!

I used it in the lower slot this time, just not for the first cut.JPG wrote:Next time, use the 'lower' slot!
And then I needed to dig out the wooden extension for the miter gauge to get support where I needed it, but I prevailed.
