"SandBlaster" sanding

I recently bought a new product from 3M (or at least it was to me) called Sandblaster. What makes it unique is it is not paper backed but a rubbery plastic. If you use regular sand paper on a rounded edge the bending of the paper causes the grit to come off. But the Sandblaster doesn't lose grit and keeps cutting. Has anyone else tried this and what do you think.
