lathe chuck adapter
can you get only the adapter for the ss for like the oneway chuck? does it fit other chucks or do you have to buy a oneway chuck only? the reason i ask is i think i know where i can get a chuck but do not know if i can use it or not on the shopsmith. any advise or information will be helpful. thanks...

I bought a 1953 Shopsmith a while back and now am getting around to checking out all the stuff i got with it. What do you use a rubber-bonded abrasive wheel for? I finally did it. I fixed up the m5 to look like a 10er and using the pulleys and a different motor ( the guts are out of the headstock) i got the Ring Master to work real good and cut three bowls out real fast after i adjusted the angle and lined up the cutters. That i can answer the Scroll saw is MORE labor intensive all the way. LAYOUT IS ABOUT THE SAME.
