New Greenie

Well folks I did it. I found a Greenie right here at home and I think she is a good one. The price was right and I feel the machine was well maintained. The previous owner had owned the machine since 1960.

I will try to post a picture.

Hi from one guy with a car name to another. I am picking up my first Mark V Greenie tomorrow night. I will be most interested in your progress. Please keep us up to date.

This is my first Shopsmith. I always wanted one but he extra bucks were in the way.

Thanks for the tip. I did find another one is Lee Summit to check on. I am not in a hurry. I have plenty of equipment right now.

I did get a reply this morning that said;

It is all original except belts I have all the Lathe stuff and the 12 disc sander and drill chuck. I have the jointer on a separate auction.

All that being said what should I look for in price? I missed a 510 for about $500 and the greenie is about $300? Is that in the ballpark?
