I think I would use the good leg as a pattern to make two completely new rear legs. That would avoid a visible repair.

If you can't repair the original leg as garys suggests, and you can't exactly duplicate the bead profile, could you make TWO new rear legs?

So, the pine is going to be the front edge of the shelf? I would add that the joineryplans website is a version of a widely-spread scam. Customers complain that there are many fewer plans than the "25,000" advertised, and the content consists of free plans that have been culled from other sources, or contain errors, or are incomplete.

Initially, my PowerPro upgrade would not power up at all. I partially disassembled it and traced the problem to a loose ribbon cable...it had come off the pins during assembly. This cable is NOT held on very securely, and maybe your initial test run caused it to vibrate loose?
